Kits: ready-made lists and pages
Ready-made lists and pages you can add to your app in one click, with example rows to get you started.
What's in this video
- Kits are ready-made sets of lists and pages, so you don't have to build everything yourself. To see them, open your app in Studio, and click Kits.
- Each kit is a card. It says what the kit is for, which lists it adds, and how many pages. Customer Directory, for example, adds one list of customers, and three pages to see and add them.
- Let's go through them all. Customer Directory, for your customers. Inventory Tracker, for stock. Sales Ledger, for sales and invoices. Assets, for buildings, plant and equipment, with their next due dates worked out for you.
- Work Orders, for jobs, from the fault report, through the safety check, to closing. Property Management, for buildings, units, leases and tenants. PPM by Building, for planned maintenance. And Cost Report, for costs, which only allowed roles can see.
- Field Job Tracker, for engineers on the move. Owner Home, a dashboard of revenue, costs and late jobs. Employee Directory, for your staff. Estate Agency, for properties, viewings and offers. And Workforce Scheduling, a weekly rota of who's working where.
- To find kits faster, use the buttons at the top. Facilities, Property, Finance, People, or Operations shows only the kits for that kind of work. All shows them all again. You can also search by name.
- If you only want a few pages, not a whole kit, use Pick and mix, at the bottom. Add just the pages you want. A list that already exists is reused, never copied.
- To add a whole kit, click Install in this app. We'll add Customer Directory.
- When it's ready, Studio opens the kit's first page, with its list, its sample rows and its pages. Like everything in Studio, it's a draft. Your team sees it when you publish.
- On the Free plan, you can add one kit of your own to each app, on top of the ones your setup installed. On Starter and Growth, you can add as many as you like.
