Blocks: Text

Write instructions or notes, make important words bigger, and turn words into links to other pages.

What's in this video

1. The Text block is for words: instructions, a welcome message, or a note for your team. Search for Text and click it.
2. Give it a name, so you can find it in the Outline later, and make it a little bigger with Wider and Taller.
3. Now click in the big box and type. It saves by itself, and the page updates as you go.
4. Default text size sets the size for the whole block. Let's make it a little bigger: choose Large.
5. To change only part of the text, highlight it first. Let's highlight the last sentence, the important one.
6. Then, under Selected text size, choose a bigger size. Only the highlighted words change.
7. You can turn words into a link, too. Highlight them, and click Link.
8. A link can go to another page in this app, to a page in another of your apps, or to a website. Choose Go to a page, then pick the page. Here, the What's wrong form.
9. Let's see it as your team will. Click Preview.
10. Here's the text, with the important sentence standing out, and Report a fault as a link. Clicking it opens the form.
