Blocks: Button

A single button that opens another page, another app or a website.

What's in this video

  1. A Button takes people somewhere with one click: to another page, another app, or a website. Search for Button and click it.
  2. Give it a name for yourself, and then the Button label: the words people see on the button. Keep it short, and start with a doing word.
  3. On click decides what happens. Do nothing is the starting point. Go to a page opens a page in this app. Go to a page in another app is for when you have more than one app. And Open a website opens a web address.
  4. Choose the page. Here, the New work order form.
  5. Tick Hide this block's name above its content, so only the button itself shows on the page.
  6. Click Preview to try it.
  7. Here's the button. Click it, and the form opens, ready for a new job.
  8. Need several buttons in a row? The Toolbar block does that, and it has its own video.
