The Governance workspace

A quick tour of every screen where you run your company: billing, payments, accounting, texts, the customer portal, security and more.

What's in this video

  1. The Governance workspace is where admins run the company side of OmniSchema. Only roles with Governance access can open it. Click the workspace switch at the top.
  2. It opens on the Governance home page, with a card for each part, and a line about what it's for. The same list is in the menu on the left.
  3. Let's go through it. Global billing shows your products and plan, what you pay, and your invoices from us. This is where you change your plan, or add a product.
  4. Card payments lets your customers pay your invoices by card, with the money going straight to your own Stripe account.
  5. Accounting connects Xero or QuickBooks, so invoices and payments don't have to be typed in twice.
  6. Text messages sends customers reminders and updates by text.
  7. Customer portal gives your customers their own sign-in, to see their jobs and invoices, and send you new requests.
  8. Booking page gives you a link where anyone can book a visit with you online.
  9. Security and audit logs records every sign-in and every change, with who did it and when.
  10. Company settings has, on its tabs, the report on how the last thirty days went, sign-in rules, working without signal, message settings, the menu for each role, and the add-ons you switch on.
  11. User roles and Team members, we covered in the last two videos.
  12. Domains lets you use your own web address for your systems, on the Starter and Growth plans.
  13. API keys connect your other systems to OmniSchema, like your website, or Zapier.
  14. Certificates holds your certificates and risk assessments, and any follow-up work they turn up.
  15. Trash keeps anything deleted, rows, lists and pages, for thirty days, so you can put it back.
  16. And Data import and export brings big spreadsheets in, and takes your data out whenever you want it.
  17. That's the whole Governance workspace. The switch at the top takes you back to everyday work. Thanks for watching.
