Closing a job, and messages
Closing a job with what you found and did, adding a new fault, and messaging your team.
What's in this video
- In the last video, we started a job. Now the work's done, so let's close it. Open Work Orders, tap Assigned to me, and tap the job.
- Tap Close.
- This is a record of what happened, kept with the job. The date and time are filled in for you. Choose what the issue was, and what you did about it.
- Add a short note if there's anything else worth recording, like a part you used. Then tap Complete job.
- The job is closed. Its history now shows who closed it, when, what was found, and what was done. The office sees it straight away.
- To add something new, like a fault you've spotted, tap the round plus button. Choose what you want to add, fill it in, and send it.
- Messages is for talking to the office and the rest of the team. Tap New chat to message someone. You can send photos and voice notes too, and you'll see when your message has been read.
- And if you lose signal, in a basement or a plant room, keep working. Your jobs still open, and anything you start or close is sent as soon as you're back online.
