Sharing an app with a code
Make a share code so another company can add their own copy of your app: what's shared, and what never is.
What's in this video
- You can share an app you've built with another company: a partner, another branch, or a customer you've built an app for. In Studio, click Publish.
- Then click Share.
- It says exactly what's shared: the pages, lists, columns and connections. Your rows, your files, your team and your settings are never shared.
- Give it the name people will see, and a short note if you like.
- Click Make a share code.
- This is your code, with a link that includes it. Copy the link and send it by email or message. Whoever opens it can add their own copy of this app to their OmniSchema.
- The copy is taken now. If you change the app later, make a new code, so people get the latest version.
- Every code that still works is listed here, with how many times it's been imported. To stop a code working, click Stop sharing. Copies people already made stay theirs.
