The customer portal

Your customers sign in to see their jobs and invoices and ask for new work.

What's in this video

1. The customer portal gives each of your customers their own page, to see their jobs and invoices, pay online, and send you new requests. Click Customer portal.
2. Step one: who are your customers? Choose the list they're kept in, and the column with their email address. Customers sign in with that email. They don't need a password.
3. Step two: what can they see? Tick the lists, and the columns, each customer should see about their own work. Cost columns are never offered, so your costs stay private.
4. Tick Customers can send a new Work Orders request, and they can report a fault to you straight from their page. Choose which boxes they fill in.
5. Step three lets you see it exactly as a customer would, before you save. Choose a customer, and look at their page.
6. When you're happy, click Save. Then copy the portal address, and send it to your customers. They sign in with their email, and only ever see their own jobs and invoices.
