Company settings

How the last 30 days went, working without signal, message settings, and each role's menu.

What's in this video

  1. Company settings has your company's report, and the settings that apply to everyone, on five tabs. Click Company settings.
  2. It opens on Activity: how the last thirty days went. Jobs logged, started and closed, how long jobs take, planned services done, and who signed in. Click seven days, or ninety days, to change the period. Print gives you a copy for a meeting.
  3. On the Operations tab, Let staff open jobs without signal keeps a copy of their jobs on their phones, so they can work in basements and plant rooms. Leave it on, unless your company doesn't allow it.
  4. Under Messages, you decide whether chats can have disappearing messages, and whether messages and files must be kept, for example for seven years.
  5. On the Navigation tab is the sidebar for each role: which pages each person sees in their menu. Choose All roles, and tick a page, and every role gets it at once.
  6. If a page is only for some roles, it shows how many have it. To give one role something different, choose that role, and tick or untick just for them. Engineers, for example, don't need the cost report.
  7. The live preview shows exactly what that role will see. Nothing changes for your team until you click Publish.
